The Society is monitoring the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) closely to ensure we are taking all necessary steps to protect our colleagues, maintain our services and support our intermediaries.
We have taken a proactive approach to our business continuity and have tested a range of contingency measures to minimise any foreseeable impact of COVID-19. As a result, although the way we’re working is changing you can still expect the same standard of service you’re used to – from new business enquiries to advances and beyond, we are very much still open for business.
Particular attention is being paid to ensuring intermediaries have access as usual to our broker portal as well as ongoing contact with our dedicated Business Development team. Importantly, the Mortgage Referrals Committee of senior decision makers is still meeting daily to discuss your clients’ complex borrowing needs.
Please note, if you would like to speak to us with a new business enquiry or about an application in hand, rather than calling as you normally would, please use our call back service. This is continually monitored so let us call you back the same day.
In common with many other organisations, we are taking a cautious approach to travelling and attending events with large numbers of attendees, to avoid any unnecessary risk of encouraging the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, regrettably, we have taken the decision to pause field visits until further notice.
We expect the COVID-19 disruption to continue for some time. The wellbeing of our colleagues is very important to us and we are committed to maintaining the standard of service you expect from the Society. We know this is a worrying situation for you and your families – please know that we are still here for you and we appreciate your support during these uncertain circumstances.
