Hinckley & Rugby Building Society has increased its Business Development Team, adding six new staff members in the past five months.
Since May of this year, the business began expanding its Business Development Team, which deals with enquiries from mortgage brokers, in response to an increased amount of business. It is hoped the new additions to the team will help the Society to grow, with more mortgage applications processed, an increased presence at industry exhibitions and an improved processing service.
Julie Bourne, Intermediary Sales Manager, explained:
“We are pleased to strengthen our team in line with our commitment to our intermediary partners. As we look to grow our mortgage book, it means we can speak to more brokers, attend more events and shout from the roof tops about our mortgage proposition. It also means that we can help with those specialist cases that fall just outside of high street lending. The team members have worked through their training schedule and are ready to help!”
Telephone Business Development Manager, Hiral Bharadiya, was one of three team members who joined the Society in May:
“I joined Hinckley & Rugby earlier this year with two other ladies and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I enjoy my role to the point where I often forget to switch off at the end of the day. The team are very talented, knowledgeable and experienced – I just can’t believe how much I’ve learned in the past five months. The Society is like a big family and I’m really enjoying working here.”
Another May starter was Business Development Team Leader, Jennifer Hingley:
“Since joining Hinckley & Rugby, I have been able to learn so much from the team and develop my skills. The encouragement from the company towards your career development is inspiring. I am very excited for the future of our new team structure and the ideas that the team already have to keep improving our services.”
As well as Jen and Hiral, the department’s other new staff members include, Zainab Sayed, Nisha Sahonta, Molly Ellis and, most recently, Georgina England, who joined in September.
The team has also been further strengthened by the return of one of its long serving staff members, Sophie Hancock, who recently returned to work following maternity leave. Sophie said:
“Since returning from maternity leave, I have been enjoying getting to know my new colleagues, and am excited to see what’s to come in the future for the Business Development Team!”
Another Business Development team member, Georgia Betteridge, will also be returning from her maternity leave in the New Year.
