Henry Varney

Non-Executive Director (pending regulatory approval)

Henry Varney joined the Society as a Non-Executive Director in March 2026.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience in Professional and Financial Services Industries. After qualifying and working in KPMG Advisory, he joined Skipton Building Society where he spent almost 20 years working across Operations, Technology, Transformation, Data and Cyber / Operational Resilience. He was Skipton’s Chief Operating Officer for 14 years. In addition, he was on the Board of Jade Software Corporation for 10 years, a New Zealand based Technology company.

Henry was born locally in Leamington, and continues to have strong connections to the area.
