We exist to empower our members and the wider community by supporting and guiding them through milestones in their life on their journey towards financial security for themselves and their loved ones.


Hinckley & Rugby Building Society is a mutual organisation proud of its long history of over a century and a half.

We offer competitive and easy-to-understand savings accounts and mortgages across England and Wales with traditional, high-quality customer service.

Owned by our members, we understand the importance of giving back to our local communities, last year we donated over £48,000 through donations, fundraising, sponsorships and volunteering.

We are proudly mutual and endeavour each day to serve our members better.

Local, friendly staff

We focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers, and our well-trained staff are available to assist customers in person, over the phone, by email, or post. We offer competitive savings accounts and mortgage products, with a dedicated team to help customers throughout the journey.

As an employer, we prioritise the well-being of our colleagues and reward their commitment to the Society.

Supporting our local communities

We are hugely active in our local communities across Leicestershire and Warwickshire and committed to giving back in various ways.

This may be a monetary donation through our Community Foundation, delivering financial education to local schools through our partnership with Leicestershire Cares, charity fundraising, sponsorships, or our colleagues volunteering their time.
