Steven Amos

Chief Executive Officer (subject to regulatory approval)

Steven Amos became Chief Executive Officer of Hinckley & Rugby Building Society in November 2026, bringing more than 20 years of experience in financial services.

Before joining the Society, Steven spent seven years at savings fintech Raisin UK, including four years as Chief Executive Officer. During this time, he led the business through significant growth, helping it manage billions in savings and expand its network to more than 50 bank and building society partners.

Throughout his career, Steven has built extensive experience in commercial growth, business transformation and building high-performing teams. He has also held senior roles across mortgages, savings, product, marketing and retail banking at Together Money, Aldermore Bank, Islamic Bank of Britain and HBOS.

Steven is passionate about building on the Society’s heritage and continuing to invest in its members, people and local communities.
