Hinckley & Rugby Building Society staff raised more than £1,900 for the BBC’s 2017 Children in Need appeal.
Staff members at branches and at the Society’s Hinckley HQ donned fancy dress, with various themes in evidence. For customers visiting branches there were games to play and prizes to be won.
The Society has fundraised on Children in Need day for many years, but 2017 saw a whopping £1,958 – the highest total in the past six years.
Hinckley & Rugby chief executive Chris White said:
“Our generous and enthusiastic staff need no encouragement to embrace Children in Need day.
“They love dressing up and making our customers’ visits to our branches on Children in Need day a memorable experience. And it is to our entire staff’s credit that they were able to raise so much money that will be put to such good uses.”
