Branch and Savings Operations Manager Tracey Ingram has been very busy over the last few months sharing her time, skills, and knowledge with local young people. As a result charity Leicestershire Cares, have presented her with a much-deserved Golden Heart award.
Tracey helped with employability sessions organised by the Yes Project, who support young people who face barriers to finding work, by talking about workers’ rights and expectations in the workplace. Tracey also gave her time to carry out mock interview sessions for those engaged with the Yes Project as well as group of young people with visual impairment challenges.
Tracey said:
“These activities were all so rewarding and enjoyable. Watching the confidence of the young people grow in just one session shows just how valuable they can be. One young lady started the session really introverted but by the end of the afternoon was participating and completely engaged, it was great to witness.”
Yes Project Development Officer Catalina Taban said:
“We are grateful for the support Tracey has offered us and for making a real difference to our work.”
