Rugby Philharmonic Choir’s Christmas Concert will be broadcast on radio by Rugby FM this year, sponsored by Hinckley & Rugby Building Society.
The concert, a highlight in the Choir’s year, is in the Temple Speech Room at Rugby School at 7:30pm on Saturday December 15.
Hundreds of people are set to attend to listen to festive favourites; including carols and works by composers Benjamin Britten, Alan Woods and John Rutter.
A highlight of the concert will be the traditional Christmas carols where audience members are invited to join in. Soloists Emma Griffiths and Jack Dolan will also feature.
Rugby FM’s Jason Moss will be broadcasting from the night, with a special highlights show being transmitted on December 21.
Stewart Heeley, Hinckley & Rugby’s Marketing & PR manager, said:
“The Phil’s Christmas Concert is a wonderful occasion for the town and a cultural highlight that Hinckley & Rugby is proud to support.”
Tickets for the Christmas Concert cost £12.50 and children under 16 can attend free of charge. To book tickets email: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone Jan Harvey on 01788 438368.
